Meet international universities in Durham

A Study Abroad Conference with representatives from overseas universities will be taking place in Durham NEXT WEEK!

Participating universities will be at Durham Johnston School to inform potential students and their parents about the courses that they have on offer in subjects ranging from business to computing, accounting to law, and media to design.

HEC evening presentationOn Wednesday 13th March from 5:30pm until 8pm you can:

  • Meet university representatives.
  • Attend presentations on topics such as:
    • Studying in Europe, delivered by A Star Future,
    • Studying in Australia, New Zealand and the US, and
    • A panel session where you can find out what international universities have to offer British students.

The following universities will at the event and available to talk to you about their Bachelor degrees in English:

The Study Abroad Conference takes place on Wednesday 13th March at 5:30pm until 8pm at:

Durham Johnston School, Crossgate Moor, Durham, DH1 4SU.

Timetable

5:30pm - 7:30pm - Meet the Universities at the HE Fair.

Seminar session A: 6:15pm - 7:00pm

Option 1: Studying in Europe - an overview by Mark Huntington, A Star Future

Option 2: Studying in the USA by Brenda Stephenson, Higher Education for Me.

Seminar session B: 7:15pm - 8:00pm

Option 1: Studying in Europe - an overview by Mark Huntington, A Star Future

Option 2: Studying in Australia and New Zealand by Stella Barnes, HE and Careers adviser, Queen Elizabeth Sixth Form College, Darlington.

Option 3: Panel of overseas universities.
