Course description


This academic bachelor's programme prepares you for a career in international tourism management. In 3 years' time, you will become a professional in this dynamic and cross-cultural sector.

The programme is delivered by staff from both Breda University of Applied Sciences and Wageningen University. You will spend the first two years in Breda. While the first year primarily focuses on foundation knowledge and theoretical studies, the second year involves an international field project in South East Asia. The final year takes place in Wageningen and consists of a minor of your own choice and your bachelor's thesis.

  • How does the cultural context influence tourism development policies?
  • Can you plan and implement a whole new holiday experience for an existing destination?

At the core of the programme is the combination of economic, social and environmental sciences. You will receive training on theoretical concepts and research methods while also undertaking practical experience.

After your graduation in Breda, you can apply your expertise in the dynamic world of tourism or deepen your knowledge with a master's study.
