"VHL offers many opportunities which are not commonly available in the UK. Since visiting the open day, I just knew that VHL was for me and from then I felt very satisfied with my decision to study at VHL. I would encourage students to visit the open day if they have the opportunity as it really confirmed VHL is the place for me."

Student housing
There are various solutions for housing during your study, depending on the location of your campus. Student accommodation in The Netherlands differs from many other countries: most universities do not offer housing on campus and most Dutch and international students find their own accommodation on the private market. In Velp (Arnhem) there are many private housing agencies that offer affordable student housing in the city centre. They offer a range of different furnished or unfurnished rooms, generally costing between €300 – €450 a month. In most student houses you will have your own room and share the bathroom and kitchen with your housemates.
