The approach of the program is to put together with the area of economics (business and political economy) the study of the principles of law and quantitative disciplines, with in-depth study in the field of finance (corporate finance, private equity, valuation and pricing, bank economics, derivatives and financial markets).
Apart from lectures, students take part in simulations, projects, group work and role plays. Experts from the world of finance will hold sessions which give students the opportunity to see where they stand and help them orient themselves towards the right path for their future.
Application Process and Entry Requirements
The degree in Finance accepts students in four Admission Rounds that take place in January, February, March and April, although the final round will only happen if there are still places available. All candidates who apply in each round will be ranked against each other and offers will be made approximately six weeks after the closure of each round. Your chances of success will probably be highest in the earlier rounds.
Students with 3 A levels in relevant subjects or two Advanced Highers plus four Highers are eligible to apply. International Baccalaureate and Irish Leaving Certificate are also acceptable. Btec Level 3 qualifications are not acceptable anywhere in Italy. (If your mother tongue is Italian you cannot apply on the basis of an A level or Higher in this subject.)
