The Central and Eastern Europe Undergraduate programme focuses on the European Union, in particular on the newer Member States in Central and Eastern Europe, in a multidisciplinary approach and a unique methodology to Sciences Po.

Two years are spent in Dijon and the 3rd year abroad in one of our 410 partner universities or in an internship. After having graduated the students, if they wish so, can join the Paris campus for the master degree, or to continue studies at another university in or outside France.

The curriculum aims to provide students with a complete understanding of the European Union and the Central and Eastern Europe systems through a rigorous teaching of five core subjects delivered by an international faculty: Economics, History, Law, Political Science, and Sociology. A wide range of electives are offered.

Language Requirements

This specifically designed programme offers a curriculum for students with a basic level of French (A2-B1 according to the CEFR) but with a good command of English (B2-C1 according to the CEFR).

Language Objectives

During the 1st year, students attend intensive classes in the French language (6 hours per week) and follow a curriculum based on their linguistic progress: during the 1st semester almost all the courses are taught in English but from the second semester several classes are given in French.

Students of this programme take the same subjects as the European Undergraduate programme but arranged according to their linguistic needs.

The objective is for all students to be bilingual in English and French and to obtain at least an intermediate level in another European language other than German, Italian or Spanish. Language courses are available in German, English, Spanish, Italian, Hungarian, Polish, Romanian, Russia, and Czech. Even if you are not fluent in French, you can choose the European programme with intensive French classes in Dijon.

The Dijon Campus is international and also offers a double Bachelor Degree Programme with University College London.
